God Knows Your Unknown

Have you ever wanted something so bad or would try to force the issue only to see what you wanted would fall apart?

You didn’t understand why it happened, because during the process it was very frustrating and nobody had the answers you were looking for. You were getting ready to retire and move but so far it has not worked out for you yet. Perhaps you just found out or a loved one just received terrible news about a chronic illness. They are healthy, take care of themselves. Watch what they eat, but the news of cancer or a serious life threatening accident changes everything now.

There are times when God doesn’t make sense and our plans are not always His plans. Our ways are not always God’s ways. God’s timing is always the best timing even in the midst of the unknowns. Remember, there’s no reason to blame God or anybody else. Some of the obstacles we face are there because God allows them for our own good. God is soveriegn and there are no easy answers, why did this happen to me or them? Nobody ever promised us that life was going to be easy or unfair! One of the promises I stand on is that, “Life is fragile- handle with prayer”.

We must learn to be patient now even when the circumstances are frustrating.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. [29] For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters”. Romans 8:28-29

God allows hardship to help us to draw closer to Jesus Christ in our personal walk with Him. God the Father wants us to be conformed into His image. Jesus did not have an easy life, yet He was and is the sinless Son of God. The difference is that Jesus was 100% human and 100% divine. We are 100% human.
This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. [16] So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most”. Hebrews4:15-16 NLT

Trusting the Lord requires faith in Him and God’s son. We cannot see God, but “faith is the substance ( assurance, reality, confidence) of things hoped for the evidence (conviction) of things not seen”. Heb.11:1.

When life throws you a curve ball keep swinging and trust God at His word because He truly is your rock and foundation. He knows your need and what you are experiencing just like Jesus.
Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested”. Heb.2:18 NLT
I heard a story about 35 years ago that a man was to preach overseas. His plane was set to go, but he arrive too late at the gate. Somewhat irrate he got upset because ” He had to be there by the next day”! Long story short that plane actually crashed and many had died. This man was not on that plane. The Lord watches over us in the unknowns, or when it does not make sense. May we learn to be wise and patient in the unknown.
In spite of hardship and trials, and testings, enjoy your weekend my friend. Stay focused on what really matters today.

Greetings! My name is Andy Provitola and I live in New England on the South Shore between Boston and the beautiful Cape Cod region. The purpose of my blogging and writing is to encourage you in your journey here on planet earth. Life is full of pressing issues and problems and my desire is to discover a place for peace, hope, healing, and contentment. I am a follower of Jesus Christ – God’s one and only Son and I discovered these truths along my own personal journey. Having discovered a personal relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ does not mean I have to be religious to attain the rewards of heaven. The fact is God provides grace for us and accepts us as we are in His image. In other words, we cannot attain heaven or life eternal on our own, but by God’s loving grace and no merit of our own. Simply by accepting Him by faith and believing. My goal is to continue to find a balance of life from a spiritual and practical perspective with a purpose to please and glorify God in all that I do because of His ‘Gift of Grace’. God is not transcendent and so far away that he is out of reach with humanity. God desires that His presence lives within us and not just in the galaxies and the universe. Experiencing the unconditional love of God has been so rewarding and while discovering the truth and purpose for my life. Moving forward in this life is not a sprint, but a marathon when it comes to this race here on earth. I am blogging because I find it is a good way to connect in a much more effective and efficient way when it comes to communicating and interacting with people that I know or do not know. Blogging and writing challenges me and also stretches me specifically in my thoughts, my mind, my emotions, and my spiritual life. To live a vertical relation with God and a horizontal relationship with others. There will be a variety of topics and subjects to address including youth, young adults, family, singles, seniors, relationships, etc. Some of the topics will include God’s creation and power, depression, loneliness, suicide, hope, healing, setbacks, financial matters, business, stress, anxiety, care, encouragement, and so much more. I would like to connect with all walks of life, ethnicity, culturally, other religions, socio-economics, and in so many more ways. I am currently writing a book and several memoirs about my own life and journey . The journey begins at a young age growing up in Malden, Massachusetts, specifically Maplewood Square to where I am today. I became paralyzed from the waist down as a senior in high school and I share how my life changed for the better! “But I do not consider my life as something of value or dear to me, so that I may [with joy] finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus. To testify faithfully of the good news of God’s [precious undeserved] grace [which makes us free of guilt of sin and grants us eternal life]. Acts 20:24 Amplified Version
